Title: Gardenia Oil
Categories: Misc *
Yield: 16 Ounces

1 To 2 cups gardenia petals, or your favorite flower petals
2cLight vegetable oil

You can use any fragrat flower petals in this recipe, such as rose, magnolia, lavender, jasmine or lilac. This oil is best if allowed to sit for at least 1 week before using.

Place the flower petals in a large ceramic container with a lid. Pour the oil over the flower petals. Place the container with the petals and oil in a cool, dark palce for at least 1 week. Strain off the flower petals, and pour the oil into a clean bottle with a tight-fitting lid or cork. For a stronger scent, you may repeat the process, using the scented oil and more fresh flower petals. Use this oil for massages and after your bath or shower.
